Happy Birthday Bre!

Bre wanted a Max and Ruby cake, so I decided to do one with Ruby and
one with Max. Here is the Ruby cake.

Here is the Max cake. They turned out okay. For some reason I could
not get them smooth this time before I decorated them. I didn't have the
time to work longer on them, so I just left them. Luckily Bre is just 4
so she doesn't really notice.

Bre and Sammy at Bre's party. Everyone was over and it was a full
house, but fun.

Bre opening her little learning computer from grandma and grandpa.

Bre opening her scooter from the Godwins. This was definately one
of her favorite things she got! Luckily today was warm so she rode it
a ton today!

Chuck E Cheese

Here is Bre after we just arrived at Chuck E Cheese. Can you tell
that she is excited?

Bre loved the climbing and the slide, but Payton could not make
it up to the top so she didn't go down the slide.

This was a little roller coaster ride. It moved around like a coaster and
the tv in front of them was like riding on the real ride. It was pretty
cool. Payton really loved it, she laughed the whole time.

Here they are doing a wave runner game. I thought this was the cutest
picture of them!

Payton loves to eat pizza. We all had a great time!

Picking a Birthday Present

Andee sent Bre a gift card so she could pick out her own present. It
was a hard choice for a Bre since she says "I want that" about
every commercial for a toy she sees on tv.

Here she is with her tea set that she decided to get. We
guided her a little bit, but as you can tell she is very excited!

Of course, as soon as we were back at Lisa's they were playing
with it! Having fun pouring and drinking water.

Payton had fun playing too, even though more of her water
made it on the table than in the cup or in her mouth.

First Day of Preschool

Here is Bre standing outside her preschool. She was excited to go.

This was the first attempt at a picture. She didn't do as well going in
today. She was clinging to me and just saying mommy. Finally Calvin
got there and so we finally talked her into walking down with him.

The girls excited to leave this morning. I don't know what Payton
was doing!

Such a pretty girl!

Here is her new backpack that grandma and grandpa got for her.

Swim class

Swim Class

This is Bre before we were leaving for her first swim class. She told me
she was going to pose like that for the picture. She said it would be
very pretty. She totally reminded me of Andee!

Here she is ready to go! She was sooooo excited!

Payton had to join in on one of the pictures too! They are so cute, and
so tan too! I will miss being tan once winter hits. Everyone looks so
much better tan.

I only took one picture of her during her class. Here she is "jumping"
in. She wouldn't jump in on her own, she had to hold hands with the
teacher. Hopefully next time she will do it on her own. She did really
good with the rest of the stuff, blowing bubbles, floating on her back,
and kicking on her belly. It was fun to watch.

This is Bre after she got home from her class. She had a lot of fun and
can't wait for her next class. She goes every Monday and Wednesday
for a few weeks.

Last day at the Waterpark

Today was the last day the waterpark is open for the year. Here
are Doug and the girls before we left for the waterpark. They
were so excited!

Bre loves the water! She is not afraid of water in her face anymore.
The waterpark has cured her of that, so she will be starting swim
class next week.

Here is Payton, she was trying to crawl around in the water like Bre
but she is too short, she loves the water too.

Bre loves the slides! It took her a while to get warmed up to them, but
now she walks up and comes down all by herself. This time Sammy
got to go down with her.

Payton was tired, so daddy made her a spot to lay down and Hyrum
joined her. He is so good with them, what a great cousin!

Payton outside riding her Dora bike around the cul-de-sac. I love living
here, so they can ride around in a big circle.

Here is Bre with her new bigger bike that the Godwins got for her.
At first she didn't like it because it leans to the side more but I
talked her into riding it again. She puts rocks and stuff in the basket.

Bre standing next to our watermelon growing in the garden. We
have about 5 growing right now, can't wait until they are done!

Bre helped me make these cookies yesterday. She put the chocolate
pieces on the top. She did a really good job! In the car yesterday she
said she wants to drive and cook when she grows up! Good, then
I won't have to do it!

The girls wanted to go touch the corn that they see everywhere.
We walked back behind the house and they got to go touch some
corn. Bre said she wanted to eat it. We love corn on the cob! Yum!

Thanks Godwins for a fun day!

This picture shows it all! This was the first thing that we did at a
park in Joliet. We went with the Godwins to Steve's work picnic.
They rent out this amuzement park and everything is free! It was
really fun! Bre was just barely tall enough to do these go carts, but
she did pretty good. This was her first time driving! She had a
ton of fun, as did we all!

Here is Payton, displaying her wonderful putting form. The girls
were funny golfing. They would hit it a couple times, then just pick
up the ball and go drop it in the hole. It was pretty funny!

Payton loved riding on the pony! She was smiling the whole time.

This was one of Bre's favorite rides. It lifts them up and then drops
a little at a time, then goes back up. She loved it! They rode it a
bunch of times.

Bre loved the pony too! She wanted to pet it.

Bre loved the teacup ride! They were spinning like crazy. She

loves to spin! At the end she looked a little dizzy though.

This is the kids on the Monster ride.

Thank you Godwins!

This will probably be the last year that Sammy will get to ride the pony. She
loved it though!

Here is Doug starting the last race that they did of the day. He said
that this track was really fun.

Here is Alex and Hyrum on the last race. They both had a lot of fun.
I am sure Hyrum is looking forward to being able to drive on this
track!

Sammy was barely tall enough to drive! She did pretty good. Here
she is trying to pass.

We had such a fun day! I was tired when we left. We were there
having fun from 10am until about 4pm! That is a long day, especially
for Payton and Bre. She fell asleep pretty fast in the car. She was
even snoring.

Waterpark FUN!

Doug played hookie today and we decided to go to the waterpark.
This was the first time he has been this summer. Here we are
hanging out in the kids pool area.

Here is Payton on one of the small slides. These are so nice to have.
The girls finally figured out how fun the slides are. They were scared
before, but today they went 100's of times!

Today Bre learned how to land at the end of the slide. She is tall
enough to just stand up, so we don't have to catch her. That is really
nice. They can walk up and start themselves and we just stand in
the pool and watch. It was a fun day!

Summer Fun

Here is Bre with her Dora sunglasses on. She loves to wear them
when it is sunny outside.

Payton is wearing some sunglasses too of course. She looks like a
little bug.

We put in a teather ball in the back yard. Well, when I say we I mean
that Doug really did it. He got the pole and ball from work last year.
Yesterday he bought a pole and cemented it into the ground, so we
just take the lid off and slide in the pole with the ball attached. It is
a pretty cool system. Then it is one less thing to mow around in
the yard. We had fun playing!

We had our first experience with the ice cream truck yesterday. We
were out working on the teather ball pole and heard the music. Last
year we would hear it, but then never see the truck. So we finally
got to buy something from the truck! They loved it!

Here is Payton enjoying her ice cream sandwich! They both made a
mess, but really loved it! What great memories!
